Michael Jackson








Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009) is a singer and composer famous all over the world to hide choreography and music videos. For these reasons, it is considered the king of pop.Michael began his career in 1964 (when he was 6 years) in the band of brothers, The Jackson Five. His great talent was discovered three years later when his song "I Want You Back became the first position on the Billboard Hot 100.In 1974 Michael Jackson released his first album as a solo singer, called Got to Be There. This album began his successful career, while the popularity of The Jackson Five began to decline.

His successful career


Four years later, in 1979, he released his second album, produced by Epic Records, on the wall. This album had four songs in the Top Ten of Billboard Hot 100, as Don'Stop Rock With You and 'Til t get enough.
In 1982, Michael released his second album, Thriller. This album became the biggest selling album of all time. The album was weeks eighties in the Top Ten of Billboard Hot 100, with the songs of Billie Jean and Want to Be Startin 'Something. It is important to note that the Thriller music video was the first black man to appear on MTV.

His death

Britney Spears



Britney Spears is a famous singer in all the world, and she is considered one of the bests artists of the decade by Billboard. She started her carrer on 1999, when she released her first single named ...Baby One More Time. This single was the first of her carrer on debut in the first position of Billboard Hot 100 List.

Consolidated like a revelation of the Pop Music, on 2000 she released a new discographical work, Oops, I did it Again. Also, the singer started her first world tour homonym.


Crossroad

This is the name of the first apparition on a film of Britney Spears. On 2001 she starred this movie, but the the critics were devastating: the movie received generally negative reviews in the United States and was winner in the categories Worst Movie and Worst Actress, in the Golden Raspberry Awards of the Oscar Awards.

However, this movie received some good critics, and was winner in some categories of MTV Awards. Also, this movie is the highest-grossing film on Japan.

Is important to note that all singles of this movie was released in the third record of the singer, named Britney. Also, in this record appeared her song Boys, part of the soundtrack of the film Austin Powers in Goldmember.


Her makeover

On 2003 Britney Spears released a new record, named In the Zone. In this record, Britney Spears singer with Madonna the song Me Against the Music.

Also, in this year the singer had her first censurated musical video, Toxic. However, this video raised that the singer won her first and only Grammy.


A year later, the singer released her first recovery record, named Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. This record included only two new songs: My Prerogative  and Do Something.


Problems in her Career


This record was released on 2007, beacause from years ago, Britney was serious personal problems, like her divorce, the loss of custody of her children, her problems with drogs, and her overweight.

This record, the fifth of her career was produced in part for Timbaland, who was produced of saveral famous singers like Madonna, for example.

This record included the songs Gimme More, Piece of Me and Break the Ice. However, this record was several problems on his promotion, and the critics was devastators with the singer for her show on MTV Awards, beacause she made playback and she was lost in some moments of her coreography.


Circus


This record was released on 2008, and this work meant the return to the musical industry for the singer. The promotion of this record included the singles Womanizer, Circus, If U Seek Amy and Radar.

The first promicional single of this record, Womanizer, reached the first position on Billboard Hot 100, and was her second single in this position.

Also, to promotionate this record, Britney started a new world tour, named The Circus Starring: Britney Spears.


Britney Spears Today


Behind the released of her second recovery record, The Singles Collection, the singer confessed that she is recording a new discographical work.
Also, she realeased a line of perfums, which includes the new fragrance Radiance.
Actually, after making a photo shoot for Candie's she released her career like clothes designer and she will apear in the famous tv serie Glee.
A inquest of Billboard determined that Britney Spears isthe pop singer more sexy of all time, after receiving the double of votes that Beyoncé.

MADONNA

Madonna is a popular singer in all the world. She's considered to be Queen of Pop for her long career in the music and her talent like pop singer.
She's one of the artists with more songs on the Top Ten on Billboard Hot 100, with a total of 37 songs.
In her carrer, Madonna has caused controversy, because she used political and religious symbols in her musical videos. Some of these videos were censured for this reason, like American Life and Like a Prayer.


Controversy in United States

The principal controversy of Madonna in U.S. was her musical video American Life. In this video, relesead during the Iraq War (in 2003, exactly) showed horribles scenes of war, in opposition with american people to see laughing. Also, the letter of the song was very defiant with the war measures, imposed by the gobernment of this time. 
The chorus of this song says exactly:
Do I have to change my name?
Will it get me far?
Should I lose some weight?
Am I gonna be a star?
For this song, many people considered Madonna a not patriot woman. However, her fans considered this song like a new chaleng of the singer. Possibly, this controversy provoked she moved from U.S.A to London, U.K. 

After the Controversy
On 2006 Madonnaa released a new disc, named Confessions on the Dance Floor. This new disc, impulsed a new style in Madonna's music, implementing dance's rhythms.
In one of his fifteen song, Hung Up, the singer implemented the background of the popular song of ABBA, Gimme Gimme Gimme.
For this recording work, Madonna recovered her career, leaving behind the controversy of her previous disc.


2 years later, Madonna released other record, entitled Hard Candy, which incorpored R&B and Hip Hop rhytms. In these new songs, Madonna included the participation of famous singers of this musical genre, like Justin Timberlake and Pharrel Williams.

However, the singer had problems withs her record producer, Warner, from to many years ago. To leave it, the contrat provided that the singers shoulded to release a recovery disc.

Sticky & Sweet Tour
Produced by Live Nation, it's the World Tour with highest grossing of a soloist singer. In this tour, Madonna returned to Latin America after 15 years.

This world tour, was started to promote the disc Hard Candy, and was realizaed during the years 2008 and 2009.
After 15 years Madonna returned to Latin America, and she performs in Buenos AiresRio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Santiago de Chile

The highlights show was certainly in Buenos Aires. This show was televised live in England, and was released on DVD and BluRay in all world.

Also, in this show Madonna sung the famous song Don't Cry for Me, Argentina, of the musical movie starring by herself (Evita)


Her last work on Warner Music
This recovery was released on 2009, and this was named Celebration and included two new songs named Celebration and Revolver (featuring Lil Wayne). After the release of this recovery, Madonna let definitively Warner Music and signed a contract with the musical company Live Nation, that produced the world tour mentioned previously.

At presennt, she's preparing a new discografical work, that may be released on the end of 2010 and start of 2011.

The only new known of this disc, is a song tituled Boom, that she was composed with the famous Dj David Guetta. But this song have some problems. Apparently, this song was recorded while Madonna had contract with her previous musical producer (Warner Music) and he had problems with the intellectual property rights of this.
But this new is just a rumor, it's not confirmed for now.


Also, Madonna is the new face of Dolce & Gabanna to promote their new eyewears, and he was relized a photo shoot for Interview Magazine.
